Excess Baggage
Baggage exceeding the free allowance will be charged an excess baggage fee calculated per kilogram at check-in.
Pre-purchase additional baggage online before your flight to benefit from a lower rate than at the airport.
A single bag may not exceed 32 kg for safety reasons, regardless of class or purchased allowance.
Oversized items (over 158 cm total) are subject to additional handling charges and must be pre-declared.
Prohibited & Restricted Items

Not Permitted Anywhere

Explosives, flammable gases, infectious substances, radioactive materials, and illegal drugs are strictly forbidden on all Sabar Airlines flights.

Restricted in Cabin

Liquids over 100 ml, sharp or bladed objects, and lithium batteries above 160 Wh must go in checked baggage or be declared at check-in.

Restricted in Hold

Spare lithium batteries, e-cigarettes, and items with flammable contents must be carried in the cabin — they are not permitted in checked baggage.

Valuable Items

Cash, jewellery, electronics, and important documents should always travel in your carry-on. Sabar Airlines is not liable for valuables in checked bags.

Special & Oversized Items
Sporting equipment (bicycles, golf bags, surfboards, diving gear) must be pre-declared and may incur an additional handling fee.
Musical instruments — small instruments may be carried in the cabin if they fit in the overhead locker. Larger instruments require an additional seat booking.
Medical equipment such as wheelchairs, CPAP machines, and mobility aids are carried free of charge. Notify us at least 48 hours before departure.
Fragile items are accepted at the passenger's own risk. We recommend using appropriate protective packaging.
Packing Tips
Weigh your bags at home before heading to the airport to avoid surprise fees at check-in.
Label all your bags clearly with your name, phone number, and destination address — both inside and outside.
Keep all medications, valuables, and travel documents in your carry-on in case your checked bag is delayed.
Lock your checked bags using a TSA-approved lock to prevent tampering during transit.
